To coincide with the release of the new Gintama Movie, a new live-action TV mini series has been announced. The new series called Gintama 2 -The Exceedingly Strange Gintama-chan- will air on Avex’s streaming service dTV and will focus on Taizo Hasegawa or ‘MADAO’ as he is often called throughout the series. To make this even better, Hasegawa’s voice actor from the anime, Tachiki Fumihiko will be reprising his role in this new mini series.
