The 2018 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards was held at San Diego Comic con on Saturday. Rumiko Takahashi known for creating classic manga including Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, Inuyasha and RIN-NE was formally inducted into the hall of fame during the event.

This was actually her fourth time being nominated for the hall of fame. Previous Japanese inductees include Osamu Tezuka, Kazuo Koike, Goseki Kojima and Katsuhiro Otomo.
