During EA’s conference, Anthem, a game done by Bioware, has been fleshed out for the public eye. It is a third-person certain with the ambition to balance multiplayer and single-player stories a the same time. This is meant to be done by having a personal story for the player, with the ability to do missions alone or with others. With many similar vibes to Destiny, it is also loot-based.

There are four suits, called javelins, that protects the player from dying to the elements during missions. All four have different playstyles like the Ranger emphasizing aerial assaults with the Colossus focusing more on brute force. These suits can also be customized to the player’s liking. Cosmetic items can be purchased, with the promise that there are no lootboxes so players know what they are getting. Gameplay was also shown off, detailing how the story plays out during a mission, and how they will be structured. They are more akin to Strikes in Destiny.
