Shadows of Adam is an RPG that exudes the SNES era style, and was created by indie developer Something Classic Games LLC. The game originally launched on Steam in February of 2017. The village of Adam has long lived in peace, hidden away in the dense haze of Misty Woods. This peace has lasted since the days of the long passed Wraith War. Though the dark power that fueled that conflict has long since vanished, darkness is once again falling on the land. Worse, Adam’s hero, Ozario is no longer around, having left a decade ago with no explanation! His son and adopted daughter now must wrestle with the dark secret that he left behind. That secret will have to be uncovered if the children are going to save Adam, and their departed father. However, this secret holds a revelation that could unhinge the world itself.
Here’s the game’s original launch trailer, showing off the game in action with its SNES goodness:
There is no release date for the Nintendo Switch version yet, but the Steam version is available for $14.99. You can also find out more about the game at the Shadows of Adam official website.
