Shenmue III

Fans who have been clamoring for a sequel to the Shenmue series will need to wait a bit longer. The publisher, Deep Silver, is moving the launch window for Shenmue III to early 2019. It was originally slated for this year.

Deep Silver did not give too much of a reason for the delay, stating, “The extra time will be used to polish the quality of the game even further, to the high standards it deserves and release the product in the best possible timeframe.” A specific release date was not given.

Shenmue III is expected to release on PlayStation 4 and PC. To tide you over, an HD collection of Shenmue I and II is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year.
