Nintendo E3 Schedule

Nintendo has big plans for E3 2018, mostly involving Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch.

On June 12th at 9:00 a.m. PT, Nintendo plans to hold a video presentation for Nintendo Switch titles for 2018, the highlight being the recently announced Super Smash Bros. title. You will be able to catch the presentation on the Nintendo E3 website, Youtube, and Twitch. Following the presentation for the next three days, Nintendo Treehouse will share inside looks and demos with developers, including Super Smash Bros. for Switch.

Before this, though, Nintendo plans on holding the Splatoon 2 World Championship tournament on June 11th, 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. PT, at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. The event concludes the next day, followed by the Super Smash. Bros Invitational 2018 Tournament, which features the brand new Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch. People who dress as their favorite characters for the event may get to play the game on stage for exhibition play. The events will be streamed in the same locations as the video presentation.

Furthermore, attendees of E3 will be able to try out Super Smash Bros. for Switch on the show floor along with other announced titles. Third-party titles for Switch will also be featured.

Lastly, anyone who stops in at the Nintendo NY Store can not only watch the Splatoon 2 World Championship on June 11th, they can also play some of the game’s featured at Nintendo’s E3 booth at the store between June 12th and 15th.

Commenting on Nintendo’s E3 presence, Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said, “Every year we take a look at E3 and craft the best experience for our fans, regardless of whether they are attending the show or watching from afar. We expect that each of our E3 activities will give an additional boost to the already strong momentum enjoyed by Nintendo Switch.”

Phew, that is a lot of Super Smash Bros. for Switch. Are you excited to see so much exposure for the title? Let us know!
