Gundam 00 | Visual

At the “Gundam 00 Festival 10 Re:vision” event, it was announced that Mobile Suit Gundam 00 would be receiving a sequel. Seiji Mizushima, the director of the 00 anime, has stated that he is working on the project. The main Ikebukuro branch of the Animate chain of stores also reported that the project will be a sequel. The format of the sequel has not been announced.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 inspired two TV anime seasons and an animated feature film. The first season aired from 2007 to 2008 for 25 episodes. The second season aired from 2008 to 2009 and also spanned 25 episodes. The sequel film, A Wakening of the Trailblazer, premiered in 2010.
