It has been announced that Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will be released on July 24. Collection 1 will include the first Mega Man X through 4, and the second collection will have 5 through 8. The collections will be $19.99 each digitally, and will be $39.99 for a physical bundle with both. The Switch bundle will have the first collection physical and a digital code for the second.
The collection will include a museum which will feature things such as trailers, game soundtracks, artwork, among other items. The OVA The Day of Σ, which serves as a sort of prequel for the games will also be included. A new mode called X Challenge will be put into the collection. This mode puts you up against two mavericks at the same time and will feature leaderboards.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on July 24.
