Capcom has just announced that Action RPG Monster Hunter World has shipped 7.5 million units worldwide. This confirms the success of the series in the West and means that Monster Hunter World is the highest selling episode of the series. Recent titles in the series were primarily aimed at handheld consoles. This is the first home console episode since Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Monster Hunter World is out now console, and should land on PC later this year at an unknown date.
