Tamaoki finished his video announcement by thanking the fans for their great reception of the titles and making this possible. He also teases that they will release further information on the game content and release date on various platforms when they are ready. Lastly, here is a full transcript of his announcement video:

Hello, everyone! My name is Tamaoki, and I am a producer and director for Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Summer Lesson.

Today, I’m excited to announce English language versions for Summer Lesson: Allison Snow and Summer Lesson: Chisato Shinjo. We aim to release this titles within the year, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready.

As many of you would know, Summer Lesson is a virtual reality game playable on PlayStation VR, where players can interact with realistic female characters as if they are standing right before your eyes. It is a game which lets players communicate up close and personal with the character, and go through a variety of vivid situations and encounters with her.

The first installment of the game, Summer Lesson: Hikari Miyamoto, has already been released in English in Asia. There, players were introduced to the first character, Hikari, a high school student.

This time, you will meet Allison, a female musician whom you encounter in the midst of her travels in the Japanese countryside. Feel your spirit being healed as you share moments and enjoy the scenery together.

As for Chisato, she is a daughter of a distinguished family and quite the pampered princess. As her tutor, impart worldly wisdom while she subjects you to her whims and fancies, leading to situations that you never imagined you could experience through virtual reality.

We want to bring these two new characters to everyone in Southeast Asia through an English release. It is thanks to all of you, wherever you are, that English releases for all three Summer Lesson characters are possible. Your overwhelmingly enthusiastic reception for the games and your unexpected levels of feedback and requests touched us greatly, and we are very grateful!

We will release the launch schedule, game content, and other information through various platforms, so please keep your eyes and ears peeled for news on Summer Lesson! Thank you!

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
