Dragon Ball FighterZ Goku kamehameha

Dragon Ball FighterZ story mode map

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ, showing off some of the game’s story. It shows some of the cut-scenes, all done similarly to the story mode in the Guilty Gear Xrd games, fully animated with the cel-shaded graphics. The other part of the story mode appears to be characters moving around on a map, seemingly similar to the Dragon World story mode in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2.

Players seem to take the role of Goku, and build up their bond with the other characters to level them up and make them stronger. The story is split into three arcs, and it all revolves around Androids 16 and 21, as well as the strange clones of the main characters who mysteriously appear around the world.
