It’s been a while coming, but the fourth Style Savvy game, subtitled Styling Star, now has a North American release date of December 25th. It had already been given November release dates in Europe and Japan. Don’t look for it in stores on Christmas morn, however, as it will be digital-only in the States.

Style Savvy: Styling Star

Style Savvy: Styling Star is purported to be the largest in the series to date, with over 20,000 items to try on, from dresses to shoes, make-up and hair coloring. You’ll also be able to groom future pop stars and furnish your apartment, firsts for the series. Like the previous game Fashion Forward, amiibo compatibility is included, with Animal Crossing, Splatoon and Kirby series figures unlocking Nintendo-themed emblems and design elements.

To prep North American stylists, a free demo is out now on the 3DS eShop. Unlike the previous two Style Savvys on the system, this entry is 2D only and lacks stereoscopic 3D. A price for the full game has not been disclosed, although it will likely fall in with the previous games’ $30 USD range.
