Tokyo Game Show 2017, or TGS 2017, is currently going on with a lot of Japanese games being shown such as Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet. Like the previous Sword Art Online games, this one is focused on RPG but emphasizing shooter elements from a third person perspective this time around; there also seems to be some team based focus too. Another featured noted is the emphasis on the custom avatar the player will make and use for the campaign, where the story will be centered around them compared to previous entries.
The game will release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC next year in 2018, early on in the first quarter.
