Final Fantasy XV: Assassin's Festival

Final Fantasy XV: Assassin's Festival

Square Enix has announced the new Final Fantasy XV: Assassin’s Festival in-game event. The event will run from today through January 31st, 2018. The Final Fantasy XV: Assassin’s Festival in-game event is a collaboration with Ubisoft Entertainment’s hit franchise, Assassin’s Creed. To participate in the event, you need only to download the free game update from the Xbox Games Store or the PlayStation Store.

The Assassin’s Festival event sees Noctis and friends take part in a Lestallum festival. The festival is held in the honor of a mythical hero who fought hard against the shackles of oppression. Final Fantasy XV: Assassin’s Festival adds some new gameplay elements inspired by the Assassin’s Creed series, like speedy, acrobatic movements, and assassinations from high places. Here is the trailer:

The free game update also adds some exclusive new costumes. There is the Medjay Assassin’s Robes for Noctis and his friends, and the Masters Assassin’s Robes for Noctis. The Master Assassin’s Robes can only be obtained from the Dream Egg from the Moogle Chocobo Carnival. Other new items include Assassin’s Creed Regalia items, including a decal and a full-body decal. They also added a themed picture frame and a new filter that you can apply (via Prompto’s photographs).

After completing the game, players can now select a chapter to play. There is also a bestiary where players can take a closer look at monsters they’ve felled so far. Players can also now check out the winning pictures from the third community Snapshot Contest at Galdin Quay. Other new things include the Noodle Cup Helmet, which greatly increases HP. They’ve also added new timed quests that will only be available for a limited time while the Final Fantasy XV: Assassin’s Festival event is running.

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
