Marvelous Japan and their subsidiary Peach Honey Games have announced several new entries for various platforms in the popular Senran Kagura series during a recent broadcast in Japan, as well as release more details on the Switch exclusive Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura. All of these games are currently only announced for Japan.
First up, Marvelous revealed that Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura will be releasing in Japan in 2017 as an eShop exclusive for the Nintendo Switch. It will cost 1000 yen. The title themes around Asuka and the HD rumble features of the Switch. They released some additional information as well as some gameplay that are included below – one is the game’s opening theme and the other two are gameplay trailers.

Asuka’s form and story changes through massages! Make physical contact with her starting with massages from your own hands!
Depending on where you touch, her mood will change. Take a look into the deep psyche of Asuka different from her usual self.

The other Switch title to get announced is Peach Ball: Senran Kagura, a pinball based spinoff that also uses the HD Rumble feature. The planned usage of this feature is so the player can feel the vibrations of the pinballs. There is no release date for this title yet, however there is a website you can view here.

Additionally, there is also a new smartphone game in the works for iOS and Android. Titled Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link, the title will star 20 playable characters from the Senran Kagura series with plans to add more as time goes by. Now onto the PS4 announcements. Firstly, they announced Bashou will be coming to Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash today in Japan. She originally appeared in Senran Kagura New Wave G Link and will be 390 yen for a limited time. Additionally, there are PlayStation VR features in development for both the dressing room and the Locker Room. You can watch Bashou’s reveal trailer below.
Next up, they revealed that Senran Kagura Burst and it’s Japan only predecessor Skirting Shadows are recieving a full 3D HD remake in one package for the PlayStation 4. The release in Japan is dated for Feburary 22nd next year. Titled Senran Kagura Burst Re;Newal, the title moves both games onto a 3D plain with evolved graphics and gameplay. Yumi from Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus will also be playable. Furthermore, there will be a limited which contains the following:
- Collector’s Box
- Booklet
- Drama CD
- Set of six character straps
- DLC card

Finally, Marvelous announced the next mainline entry in the series. Titled Senran Kagura 7EVEN: Shoujo-tachi no Koufuku (Girls’ Happiness), it is a PS4 exclusive and will be releasing in Autumn 2018 next year in Japan. The only other information available about the title is the following tagline – “Summer ends, and winter passes. In order to greet each spring.” Additionally, a second season of the Senran Kagura anime is in the works.
