Secret Legend was shown off last fall, and now under the name Tunic, gameplay has been shown this past E3. The game plays from an isometric perspective as you, an adorable little fox in a tunic clad with sword and shield, explore this massive over world. The game clearly takes some notes from 2D entries in The Legend of Zelda series, yet it does feel distinct in some ways and stands out. The combat is quite in depth with fast rolls, blocking  and countering moves that the 3D Zelda games would normally use, along with other games such as Dark Souls. The art style is beautiful with a pixel art focus as well with a good usage of lighting and a unique geometrical look to give some personality to the land you’ll be exploring.

You can sign up to receive updates for Tunic on the official website. Tunic is set to release in 2018 for PC, and modern consoles. The web site should be adding more information as time goes on, and includes social media pages to follow.
