Courtesy of the Chiyo-St. Live 2017 –Genesis- event, visual novel company Mages. unleashed a bevy of announcements regarding their incoming releases. Based on the variety of new games under the Science Adventure series, the company’s fans have much to look forward to in the near future.
To start, Robotics;Notes DaSH was announced as a follow-up to Robotics;Notes. Rather than a sequel, it promises to be a major update of the original with new elements. More information regarding the release is to come.
Speaking to updated editions, Steins;Gate Elite was also announced as an ultimate edition of the popular Steins;Gate visual novel. As with Robotics;Notes DaSH, release information is forthcoming at a later time.
Anonymous;Code was given no anonymity about which platforms it would be launching for. A Nintendo Switch version was newly announced in addition to PS4 and Vita editions also coming out. This marks the first time one of Chiyomaru Shikura’s visual novels will be hitting a Nintendo platform. Anonymous;Code is due in 2017, but no window was given.
A video game adaptation of the light novel Occultic;Nine series now has a Japanese release date, following its long-ago announcement back in 2015. It will launch in the region on September 28th across PS4, PSVita, and Xbox One. The third volume of the novel series launches beforehand in the summer.
The mobile visual novel Chaos;Child launched on iOS in January, and now has an Android version, newly launched on May 28th. Its surprise arrival comes with a special launch price of 2,000 yen. Come June 11th, it will retail for its normal cost of 4,800 yen.
Finally, the event rounded out with Mages. promising more Science Adventure titles to come to Steam in the future. No specific titles or release dates were given.
