After a successful year as Kingdom Hearts Unchained X, the mobile game has now evolved into Kingdom Hearts Union x[Cross]. The relaunch is now available to download for free on Android and iOS. Previous players only need to update the original game to experience the new content.
Square Enix released a new trailer to mark the occasion:
The biggest change to the game besides the new name is the addition of multiplayer. Now, up to six players can partake on quests together to defeat the Heartless. You can communicate with your friends through text bubbles and emotes.
A theater mode to watch all of the game’s cutscenes was also added. Furthermore, free items and in-game currency are being rewarded to players in celebration of the game’s anniversary.
