The fourth volume of Yuri!!! on Ice placed at the top of Japan’s Oricon Blu-Ray sales charts. The popular ice skating anime made its debut in the charts moving over 33,000 copies for the week of March 27th through April 2nd. Other new debuts include Fate/Grand Order: First Order with over 17,000 units sold, and Kubikiri Cycle: Aoiro Savant to Zaregoto Tsukai 5 at 10, 772 units.
Yuri!!! on Ice‘s high placement may be accredited to the show’s upcoming second season, tentatively dated for this coming October. Although series creator Mitsurou Kubo isn’t saying much, an upcoming event at Tokyo Disney Resort promises more details on Yuri‘s much-anticipated second season.
