Firepro Wresting World

At GDC 2017, Spike Chunsoft announced that a long awaited game franchise would be returning in the form of Fire Pro Wrestling World. It’s been 10 years since the last Fire Pro Wrestling game was released, so this is exciting news to fans of the series, myself included. These games are famous for there immense level of creativity, being able to customize just about everything from movesets, to attires, to rings, and so much more. They have the most in depth creation of any wrestling game in the market.

They also announced the release dates for some Danganronpa games. These include the PC release dates for Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony which will release on July 27th and September 26th respectively. They also set a release date for Cyber Danganronpa: The Class Trial, which is a VR prelude to Danganronpa 1 • 2 Reload. It will release in North America on March 7th and in Europe on March 10th. The game will be free for all PlayStation Plus members.

Director and writer Kotaro Uchikoshi also revealed that he is working on a new project. Not much is known about it yet other than the fact that he has code-named it Psync. He has also revealed details about Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, an HD game collection that includes remasters of both Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (999) and the sequel 999, Virtue’s Last Reward. The game will release on March 24th for the PC.

As well at the press event, they announced that 428: Shibuya Scramble will be releasing for the first time ever in the West on both the PS4 and PC in Early 2018. For those who don’t know, 428: Shibuya Scramble is a visual novel with up to 85 different endings. It has this really interesting premise of having multiple different protagonists all trying to solve the same mystery. You get to choose their individual paths, and they all intertwine at different points. There’s a great line up here and I’m looking forward to playing a lot of these games that I haven’t had the chance to, as well as catching up on an old series I loved. What do you guys think of all the games that were announced?

A gamer at heart, and a creator by trade. As a shy kid who grew up in a small town, my only solace was with the games that I enjoyed playing. That being said I enjoy just about every type of game, but more than anything I love playing horror/unique games. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of the strange and unusual with the world.
