Back at the most recent PAX West, I had the opportunity to play Mr. Shifty, a fantastic and frenetic action game about teleporting through walls and punching people in the face. It is a pretty simple concept, but executed with such skill and fun that I was hooked pretty quickly. While it might not blow you away with production values, it’s a game I highly recommend to those looking for a challenge.

Mr. Shifty | BreakStuff

While I knew it was destined to release for PC, I just found out today that Mr. Shifty is also coming to the Nintendo Switch this April! Published by tinybuild, Mr. Shifty is a must own for those who like games that require fast reflexes and lots of memorization. Be sure to check it out in April, take a look at the Open Beta, and take a glimpse at this trailer to get a better idea what it’s all about.

About Josh Speer

Josh is a passionate gamer, finding time to clock in around 30-40 hours of gaming a week. He discovered Operation Rainfall while avidly following the localization of the Big 3 Wii RPGs. He enjoys SHMUPS, Platformers, RPGs, Roguelikes and the occasional Fighter. He’s also an unashamedly giant Mega Man fan, having played the series since he was eight. As Head Editor and Review Manager, he spends far too much time editing reviews and random articles. In his limited spare time he devours indies whole and anticipates the release of quirky, unpredictable and innovative games.
