At the Nintendo Switch Presentation, Nintendo revealed a new trailer for the upcoming¬†The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The trailer teases the game’s story, showing off some of the Japanese voice acting, as well as revealing the launch date to be March 3, 2017, making it a launch title for the Nintendo Switch.

The full trailer can be seen below:

Broad, sweeping shots of the world abound, along with showing the Master Sword at one point. It gives us a better look at what we can expect when it releases on Wii U and Switch this March.

About Chris Melchin

Chris is a computer science student who has been gaming ever since he knew what to do with a Super Nintendo controller. Since then, he's owned every Nintendo console to be released. His favourite games include Xenoblade Chronicles, Persona 4 Golden, and Little Busters. He started watching anime in high school, and his favourite series is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. He also writes Vocaloid music for his personal YouTube channel, and has a (slight) obsession with Megurine Luka.

  • Mr0303

That was expected. They needed Zelda to push the NS. I wonder if they will release the Wii U version on the same date.

  • King of Crasher

They talk?! Um this is a bit different. Not sure how I feel about this.

    • Good. About time the legend of Zelda franchise evolved and got voice acting.

  • The only good news from the entire event.
