Hideki Kamiya has commented on Twitter with regards to the cancellation of his latet game, Scalebound, which was slated to release on Xbox One and PC.
To summarise, Kamiya reports that Scalebound has been cancelled and apologises to everybody who was looking forward to the game. He then promised to never let down these people again, and hopes that people will keep paying attention to Platinum Games. Furthermore, Kamiya quahes the rumour that he has taken time off for his mental health, saying that there is “no way” he would take time off for that.

We’re sorry to say that on January 9, 2017, Microsoft Studios announced the cancellation of Scalebound. We are very disappointed things ended up this way, especially since we know many of our fans were looking forward to this game as much as we were.
