Hikaru Utada

As confirmed on her father/agent’s Twitter, the beautiful voice of Hikaru Utada is officially working on the theme for the latest game in the series, Kingdom Hearts 3. As fans of the series know, Hikaru lent her talents to both of the main themes of the mainline games, “Simple and Clean/Hikari” and “Sanctuary/Passion” respectively.

Earlier in 2013, she made a similar statement about working on Kingdom Hearts 3‘s theme, but immediately retracted it, citing it as a “misunderstanding” on her part and that the future of her working on it was “Undecided”. Thankfully, they appear to have settled their differences. As a long time fan of the series, I look forward to seeing what kind of masterpiece they manage to come up with this time.

About Dalton McClain

A gamer at heart, and a creator by trade. As a shy kid who grew up in a small town, my only solace was with the games that I enjoyed playing. That being said I enjoy just about every type of game, but more than anything I love playing horror/unique games. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of the strange and unusual with the world.
