Everyone’s favorite fully evolved penguin based Pokémon, Empoleon, is joining the the arcade version of Pokkén Tournament December 15th according to an article over at Gamatsu.

Empoleon is of course the fully evolved form of Piplup from the Sinnoh region. (Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum) It’ll be interesting to see what this water/steel Pokémans will bring to the table.

There seems to be no word at this time if Empoleon will also be joining the Wii U version of Pokkén Tournament, but we’ll be sure to keep you informed.
