GOG.com has some big savings going on now. As always, they won’t last forever so you gotta get ’em while they’re hot. The discounts go up to as much as 80% off on some titles. The games currently on sale include titles like Prison Architect and Double Dragon. A number of games in the Ys franchise and Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky are also on sale.

A lot of other titles from Introversion Software (developers of Prison Architect), are also on the list. They include Darwinia, Multiwinia, and DEFCON. Uplink: Hacker Elite, however, is not on sale (but it’s only $5.99 anyway). Darwinia sees you trying to save a virtual world and its virtual inhabitants from a rampaging computer virus, while Prison Architect sees you building and managing your own prison.

Another game on sale is the PC version of Little King’s Story. It was originally released on the Nintendo Wii, and was a hidden gem in the Wii library. You take on the role of a timid little boy named Corobo. He finds a magical crown that charms people and can make them follow orders. As a result, he soon becomes the benevolent king of the village. You will manage your kingdom and see it grow as you expand it. Eventually the story takes an unexpected turn, but that’s for you to discover.

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in my early 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES and SNES. He loves Nintendo but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks or bike rides, and loves animals.

Michael is also a computer programmer. This started with a toy he got as a kid called PreComputer 1000 that was made by V-Tech. It had a simple programming mode which is what started him down the road of being a programmer! Michael can program in BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, C#, and is familiar with Java and Lua Script.

Putting programming and gaming together, Michael became a hobbyist game developer which may give him some good insights on game development! Most recently, he has been playing with the free version of the Unity engine (a powerful and easy-to-use game engine).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
