Some negative news for Sony, they posted that revenue had gone down during Q2. The loss was for both game and the network service areas. During that quarter around 3.9 million PS4s were moved, only slightly lower than the 4 million from the same time last year. Some of the reasons for the decrease in revenue come from the price reduction of the PS4 and appreciation of the yen. The sales for the PS3 are also continuing to decrease, and there was no mention of Vita sales at all.
Despite the loss during the quarter, Sony still is ahead of Microsoft and Nintendo in console sales. At the moment over 40 million PS4s have been sold. With the release of the PlayStation VR and the new models of PS4 coming out, do you think Sony will be able to do better the next quarter?
