No Game No Life licensed by Yen Press

Yen Press has announced they have licensed three new manga series. The three titles are part of Yen Press’ Spring 2017 list. There is No Game No Life, Desu! which focuses on the life of Izuna Hatsuse. Another series that’s been acquired is Your Name. Yen Press will publish the manga adaption along with the spin-off  Your Name Another Side: Earthbound. The other is the first volume of Delicious in Dungeon, here’s a description from Yen Press:

“What do you get when you cross dungeon adventures and food manga? You get Delicious in Dungeon, where we find our troupe of adventurers on a mission to save their lost team member while figuring out how to survive on the food that the dungeon provides. When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions. They’re eager to get right back to it, but there’s just one problem: if they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to eat it on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, mimics, and even dragons…none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!”

About Walter P

Plays too much, but still has too many games to finish. Will play any type of game and will watch anything, so is of course not good at being productive. Loves anything crazy.

Delicious in Dungeon seems like it will be fun.

It’s pretty great. I’ve been waiting to hear of anyone picking it up for a while now, so good news here.

I just hope that the translation already out there doesn’t disappear and doesn’t stop, though in the latter case at least it’s at a good point to not be unbearable if it does.

Thanks, good to hear. I think as long as someone keeps the translating going (either officially or unofficially) that will be fine by me.
