Brave Witches | Fall

The Fall 2016 season is here! We have quite the selection of anime coming up and some of the staff at Oprainfall want to share with you the shows they are interested in.

Flip Flappers

Flip Flappers | Fall

A comedic sci-fi anime about two girls that travel to a different time and dimension in search of a mystical crystal that grants wishes and helps them transform into magical girls who engage in battles! What’s not to like about that premise?

-Andy Kidwell

Hibike! Euphonium 2

sound euphonium | Fal

First season was pretty great and it’s Kyoto Animation.

-Troy Edwards

Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans

Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans | Fall

With Tekkadan finishing their job from last season we should be seeing interesting things coming, especially from this series’ Char-like character.

-Walter Pierce

working | Fall

I loved the original series because of the comedic elements and how well the characters interacted with each other. I can’t wait to see how the characters interact with each other for this one.

-Patrick Aguda

Yuri!! on Ice

Ice-Skating never looked so flawless. From what we’ve seen of PVs, the animation looks beautiful and the characters seem stylised and unique. I’m really excited to see what Studio MAPPA has in store and I’m certain that this somewhat lesser known show is sure to blow everyone’s minds!

-Owen Corkin

Brave Witches

Brave Witches | Fall

Seems pretty interesting, not super familiar with the Strike Witches series, but I’m an action fan, so I’ll give it a try.

-Andrew Mathieu

Nanbaka | Fall Featured

Directed by one of the Shinji Takamatsu who worked on the Gintama series this one caught my attention immediately. The bright colors, over-the-top characters and a prison setting make this one seem very promising. Hopefully it delivers.

-Justin Guillou

These are just a little taste of what we will be able to enjoy over the next couple of weeks. Let us know in the comments, what anime you are looking forward to watching. Hopefully this season will be a good one!
