Over a decade after Death Note took over the world, the manga is being bound into a single volume.
The book spans 2,400 pages, which includes a previously unpublished story that was created in collaboration for the third live action film, L: Change the World. Shueisha is publishing the book on Tuesday, October 4th, for 2,500 yen (about $24.70). Viz Media, the North American publisher for Death Note, has not mentioned a localization of the all-in-one manga, but with their release of the Death Note Black Edition, I would be surprised if they did not bring this version over.
Does anyone else cringe looking at the spine, though? I think I would be okay if the volume was hardcover bound, such as with Junji Ito’s Gyo. What do you think?
