Michel Ancel took to Instagram earlier today with a piece of artwork for what many people believe is the long-awaited sequel Beyond Good & Evil 2. The short blurb simply says “Somewhere in system 4 … – Thanks #ubisoft for making this possible !” The art features a man in sunglasses along with a pig child, who many people believe to be Pey’J, a central character from the first game. While nothing concrete is stated what this art is for or if the game is even happening, it definitely gives hope to fans who want to return to this universe. With games like Shenmue III and Final Fantasy VII Remake coming in the foreseeable future, Beyond Good & Evil 2 doesn’t seem so out of reach.
