At TGS 2016, publisher Prototype announced that Key’s visual novel Rewrite will be officially releasing on PS4. The news comes after a leak a week or so ago, revealing that it may be coming to the platform.
The PS4 version of the game is not titled Rewrite+, but will apparently be based on the newer version of the game released in July of this year. It will also include the fandisc Rewrite: Harvest Festa! which was also included with the updated re-release.
The new version will run at 1080p on PS4, and is set for release in Japan in spring of 2017. No word has been given on the possibility of an English release of the PS4 version, although the PC version of Rewrite+ has been confirmed for an English release through Steam.
