Limited Edition Goods & Exclusive Collector Items for the Time-Bending VN, ChronoClock.

Now on Kickstarter!

Purple Software, a visual novel developer of the highest caliber, will be bringing the thrilling time-bending adventure, ChronoClock, to the West with the aid of Sekai Project, Denpasoft and Nutaku!

Welcome to the time-traveling world of ChronoClock, the sensational adventure from Purple Software. After inheriting a memento from his grandfather, Rei Sawatari finds himself wielding the ability to turn back time for five minutes via a pocket watch. It’s a power that holds the key to endless opportunities as well as unfortunate fates…

For this campaign, we are giving the fans a chance to create an opportunity for ChronoClock to have the proper high-quality limited edition merchandise it truly deserves. This includes a brand new Kickstarter-exclusive big box like other Sekai Project games have received in the past, as well as a fully translated out-of-print fanbook, tapestries, CDs, and much more. The translation and production of the game is already financed and well underway, and the game is projected to be released in January of 2017.

There will also be a Denpasoft version which will be distributed by our good friends at Nutaku! The physical version is the Denpasoft edition of the game, but backers will also get the Steam and Nutaku download should backers decide to back the physical version of the game.

STORY

Next in line to manage a large corporation is our protagonist, Rei Sawatari. He inherited one very important item from his grandfather, the pocket watch. A mysterious power lurks within that pocket watch.

‘The power to go back in time five minutes.’

It’s a power that he can use as many times as he wants, but it’s somewhat difficult to make use of. If he uses it well, then there’s no telling what he could accomplish. He could even save the world… but he shouldn’t need to do anything amazing like that.

Our protagonist is just a boy who became a time traveler in order to have fun adventures every day. In order to talk to cute girls and maybe even find a girlfriend, his ridiculous school love adventure starts now.

Rei Sawatari created a list of cute girls that he confesses his feelings to one right after the other, and he then uses the power of the pocket watch to turn back time, investigating the girls who might be interested in him without any risk.

After school, after Rei finishes his usual routine, a girl falls from the roof of the school building, splattering against the ground. When he turned back time to find out what on Earth happened, he found the first year girl, Suzuki Miu, who was right in the middle of confessing her feelings to his best friend when Rei walked in at the worst moment. Miu was an extremely shy, brilliant, and unlucky girl; it took all her courage just to tell someone her true feelings.

Our protagonist, who could only tell someone his feelings with the help of the pocket watch, was deeply impressed by the girl’s determination and decided to help her so that her second confession would succeed. That was the beginning of their bizarre three-way relationship. At the same time, the protagonist must gather up the courage to confess his feelings to one of the other heroines.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.

Looks pretty good. Does it have a release date

Kickstarter says January 2017, but Sekai gets held up a lot so take it with a grain of salt.

I wonder if frontwing will go back to Sekai Project if their next kickstarter is not successful
