Bandai Namco has released a ton of new screenshots from their upcoming release of Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization. They have also shared some details about a new system  found in this game,  The Emotion Void System. This system will be key to communicating with characters found in the game.  Each character has their own personality and emotions that can be checked in the status menu, this will effect the character on the battlefield.  The more bonded your team is, the better they will perform in battle.

Argo will also be making a return to help Kirito and company once again. The information seller will likely be very useful in combat like in the previous games, but you may need to protect her from any dogs! Anyways, the last bit of information is about some of the game’s new bosses. Abyss the Imperial Taurus and Grand Admiral Taurus  are two new baddies that look like they will give the party a run for their money. The fact they can combine into one even larger boss with combo attacks is no joke and should be very interesting.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will launch in North America and Europe sometime this Fall. You can check out all the new screenshots and artwork below:

NEW DETAILS REVEALED FOR SWORD ART ONLINE: HOLLOW REALIZATION™

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe has announced today new features and characters for upcoming Action-RPG SWORD ART ONLINE: HOLLOW REALIZATION.

The Emotion Void System is a key feature for in-game communication between characters. With it, each character has its own personality represented by emotions that can be checked in the status menu; and players will have to be careful because these emotions can influence characters’ skills on the battle-field. The more they maintain their bonds with the members of the team, the more efficient they will be during fights. Through this feature, the mystery around Premiere deepens further: at first glance, the girl seems to have no emotion, but once players interact and enter battle with her they will see her emotions develop.

Well-known for selling information to gamers in Sword Art Online, Argo will once again help Kirito and his friends in their adventures in Sword Art Origin’s world. Players will be able to team up with this new character and benefit from her experience to progress in the game. Lastly, new big bosses Abyss the Imperial Taurus and Grand Admiral Taurus will be giving players a hard time, as these two giant Tauruses can team up to become one boss with powerful combo attacks. Players will also face Summon the Fate Dominator, and will have to deal with its unpredictable attacks.

SWORD ART ONLINE: HOLLOW REALIZATION will be available in Autumn 2016. The game will be distributed physically and digitally for both PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®Vita in Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Australasia.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
