    Wait what?
Since when does Sega allow 3rd party’s to localize their stuff? Also skipping the console versions in the west entirely? Really not sure what to think about this to be honest since we haven’t seen a Shining game in the west since the PS2 (Or the Saturn in case you live in Europe.).
Personally I would have been happier if they’d localized Shining Resonance first so we’d at least know some of these characters.

It ain’t the first time this happened.

Reminder that Fatlus released both Shining Soul titles and the Shining Force GBA remake in North America, and NIS America got their mitts on Sakura Wars V (and didn’t even bother giving Wii owners a reacharound in the form of a Japanese voice-over disc like they did with the PS Double).

    • DizzyGear

I officially give up on trying to understand wtf Sega is doing.

I’d imagine plenty of 3rd party publishers queuing up to handle PSO2, VC3 back in the day, the shitload of other Shining games we never got, Phantasy Star Nova, etc, etc but out of the blue we get a Shining fighting game spin-off with characters no one but the hardcore Shining fans ever heard of ported and published by a 3rd party.

  • Keiji Johnson

Why PC only here? Couldn’t they just release the PS4 version here alongside the PC version like every other game that’s being localized here so far?
