Fate/EXTELLA delivers Musou-like action

Fate/EXTELLA is best described as a high octane, frantic action-oriented take on the Fate/EXTRA universe. The field gameplay of Fate/EXTELLA should feel familiar to players of Musou-styled games, especially the Warriors Empires spinoffs. You’ll be tasked with taking control points one by one to gain control of the battlefield. Your Servant accomplishes this by eliminating hordes of automatons pouring in, while fending off invasions of your own blocks. Once I gained enough control points with Saber, Tamamo-no-Mae appeared and I had to duel her. Naturally, you’ll be stringing together massive comboes by combining weak and strong attacks, the Extella Maneuver, and the Form Change, which effectively acts as your “Fury Mode” in this game. Situational awareness is key here, as you’ll have to think on your feet and move quickly to prevent too many of your bases from being taken.

Fate/EXTELLA

I believe Fate/EXTELLA will be a welcome addition to any Fate fan’s video game collection. You certainly won’t want to miss this if you enjoy Musou games like I do. Also, Tamamo-no-Mae is best girl. Just saying.
