Monster Hunter Generations will be out later this summer, and exclusive DLC will be available exclusively for western regions. In an interview with Nintendo World Report, it was revealed that certain Japanese collaboration DLC had to be removed for “licensing and rights” related reasons. This isn’t uncommon as Steve Baltimore informed me that the western release of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth had to remove a costume for the main heroine for similar reasons. So rather than release the game with missing armor or weapons, new collaboration DLC will replace it. It’s a nice gesture for an unfortunate situation, and it will be interesting to see what the developers come up with. I mean, who wouldn’t want a Felyne dressed like Finn from Adventure Time?
