Ubisoft has announced their new IP for this year called, Steep. Ubisoft is using their studio’s proximity to the French alps as inspiration for an open world extreme sports simulator. There was a lot to see there with base jumping, climbing, hang gliding, wing suits, skiing, and snow boarding. There will be multiplayer and also photo and movie capture modes. So if you are a fan of these types of mountainside extreme sports, this may just be the release you were looking for. Certainly it is a genre that hasn’t been explored in the gaming space much. So give a look at the first trailer for the game here:

It is coming this winter for next gen systems such as PS4 and XBox One.
