Prototype has announced that they will be porting the Visual Art’s/Key’s 2001 visual novel Air to the PlayStation Vita this Summer.

Air was originally released as an adult visual novel on PC in 2000. The PlayStation Vita will use the all-ages version from 2001. The game has been ported to the PlayStation 2, PSP, Sega Dreamcast, and mobile devices.

Additionally, the game will add a visual novel version of the spinoff novel “New Year’s Sky Chapter”. That acts as a prequel to the main story. There is also, touchscreen functionality, fast forward to questions, and an increased resolution to 960×544 with a fine-tuned color scheme.

Air will be coming to the PlayStation Vita this Summer in Japan.
