Sekai Project has teamed up with Key to bring CLANNAD –Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de- to the West. This is a collection of short stories created to complement the original story of CLANNAD. The game was first released on the PSP in 2010 and hosts a combination of the novel published in 2005 and the drama CD’s published in 2007. CLANNAD –Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de- now finds it’s way to the PC in WEST.
We had the pleasure to view a build of CLANNAD –Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de- at GDC 2016. If you know anything of CLANNAD or Key’s other works you know that you’re in for a drama full of emotion and romance. The PC port will combine all 16 stories of the two-part PSP game into one. Each of these stories are accessible through the main menu where you can choose who’s story you’d like to play. The resolution has also been upgraded to 1280×720 giving you a better chance to view Key and Visual Arts’ amazingly detailed art.
Our time with CLANNAD –Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de- was short, but we won’t have to wait long because the game is set to release in late March/early April of this year for the PC. Prepare the tissue boxes.
