Atlus have released a new trailer for their upcoming 3DS dungeon RPG Etrian Odyssey V: The End of the Long Myth which shows off more about the world, character customisation and gameplay.

The trailer features the first snippets of gameplay and character customisation, as well as revealing some of the character portraits that are usable in the game, as the player ventures through the land of Arcadia.

It also reveals the collector’s edition near the end of the trailer, which contains a physical copy of the game, an artbook and some DLC codes within a collector’s box. A soundtrack CD was also revealed in the trailer as a preorder bonus with all copies of the game.

Etrian Odyssey V is due out on August 4th in Japan, with no word yet on a Western release. The author of this article will probably be importing the collector’s edition because he is impatient and a sucker for Etrian Odyssey titles.

View the trailer below. You can preorder the game from Play-Asia here and the limited edition here.
