A new teaser trailer for the upcoming Japanese animated film Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions has been streamed online. The film takes places after the events of the original anime series and will be executive produced by Yu-Gi-Oh! manga creator Kazuki Takahashi, who will also handle the film’s character designs and screenplay. Satoshi Kuwahara, who has worked on Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, will direct the film. The trailer actually starts off with a scene from the anime series before transitioning to the present day of Yugi’s world. Many characters, including Yugi’s friends and rivals, will be returning, with at least one new character in Aigami.

Japanese fans planning to see the film will be treated with 200,000 limited advance tickets that come with a alternate Blue-Eyes White Dragon card. The limited advance tickets go on sale on December 12, with the second edition going on sale March 5, 2016. Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions will arrive in Japanese theaters on April 23, 2016.
