Shinichi Shinohara in Yakuza: Kiwami

Shinichi Shinohara in Yakuza Kiwami

SEGA has released a new story trailer for the upcoming Yakuza Kiwami, the remake of the original Yakuza coming out on PlayStation 3 and 4 on January 21 in Japan. The trailer is over 8 minutes long, and can be found below.

Yakuza Kiwami has several upgrades to the original, such as new and updated scenes and systems, new battle styles, new minigames, and the ability to fight Majima whenever you want. The remake also features retired judoka Shinichi Shinohara, with protagonist Kazuma Kiryu acting as his tour guide in Kamurocho. Kiryu takes Shinohara to an “underground arena” where he can fight, when the red light district proves unstimulating.

On release, early copies of the game will include a demo for Yakuza 6.
