Radiant Historia

Mitsuru Harata, the director of the critically acclaimed Nintendo DS RPG Radiant Historia, has tweeted about the game to celebrate the game’s fifth Anniversary, which was last week. In said tweet, he said:

“Oh, is it already 5 years! Although it is hard to admit that it was never a hit, I’m really grateful to see that many people still love it. Personally I also have a strong emotional attachment with this title. I’ll always hold onto an attitude ‘someday a new Radiant Historia!’ lol #rh_atlus”

Of course, this does not mean a sequel is 100% confirmed, so do not get too excited just yet. Radiant Historia was a hit among RPG fans when it came out with some considering it the best RPG on the handheld. The director is very fond of the work put into it, and if a sequel is indeed going to happen, we will more than likely be hearing a lot more about it. When that happens, get your wallets and hype ready. For now, how about we just take a second to appreciate the game and what it accomplished back when it came out.
