Max Factory - Zero Suit Samus

There’s been a good deal of Nintendo merchandise lately from Good Smile Company, and Max Factory. Figmas, Nendoroids, and even some scale figures. Featuring characters from The Legend of Zelda, Mario, Fire Emblem and even Kirby. Though it’s never a bad idea to pair them up with some older merchandise you may have missed out on, such as the long released Zero Suit Samus scale figure from Metroid: Other M.

Thankfully, Good Smile Company has the right idea. They recently revealed that they are all set to re-release Zero Suit Samus, based on Metroid: Other M‘s design. The scale figure is set in 1/8th scale, measuring about 9 inches tall. Samus stands tall, posing with the Metroid Hatchling/The Baby after a successful mission as she stares into the distance with her paralyzer pistol in hand. The Metroid can be slightly posed as well, moved around or removed outright from the base.

Zero Suit Samus can be pre-ordered off Good Smile Company’s online shop, BigBadToyStore, and Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll has had this as a ‘featured deal’ a few times as well. Max Factory made a Figma of Samus in her Varia Suit (based on Other M‘s design as well) alongside this originally, though it is unknown if there will be another re-issue of that. Hopefully, we get the teased Zero Suit Samus figma too. Zero Suit Samus is set to come out in in May, 2016.

Now if only we could get a new Metroid game….
