Chromophore: The Two Brothers

Chromophore: The Two Brothers | oprainfall

Chromophore: The Two Brothers, an action adventure game from indie developer Ackkstudios, has been reconfirmed for launch on Wii U this upcoming winter. Originally launching on PC, the game was slated to come the Wii U a while back, but an official release never came to pass. The developer was able to comment on the situation with Nintendo Life. Apparently, the game was originally being ported by another third party, but things broke down after little progress was made on the Wii U version of the game. Ackkstudios is now handling the port themselves along with its other upcoming Winter title, YIIK: A Postmodern RPG, which is also headed to Wii U.

While it’s unfortunate that it has taken so long, it’s nice to know Chromophore: The Two Brothers is still coming to Wii U and rather than being cancelled. No official release date has been confirmed, but Winter of this year or early next year seems to be locked in.
