The second season of Noragami, titled Noragami Aragoto, has received a second promotional video, streaming on the series’ website. The new trailer previews the opening theme for the anime, “Kyouran Key Kids!!” (Fury Hey Kids!!) by The Oral Cigarettes. The ending theme will be performed by Tia, who also performed the ending for the first season, although it has not been revealed yet.

Noragami Aragoto will adapt the Bishamon arc from Adachitoka’s original manga, and reunites the cast and crew from the first season, with BONES handling the animation and Kotaro Tamura directing, and character designs by Toshihiro Kawamoto. The voice actors for returning characters will reprise their roles:
- Yato: Hiroshi Kamiya
- Kiyori Iki: Maaya Uchida
- Yukine: Yuuki Kaji
- Bishamon: Miyuki Sawashiro
- Kazuma: Jun Fukuyama
- Kofuku: Aki Toyosaki
- Daikoku: Daisuke Ono

- Kuraha: Kazuhiko Inoue
- Mayu: Asami Imai
- Nora: Rie Kugimiya
There will also be new characters, including Aiha (voiced by Hisako Toujou), Kugaha (Takanori Hoshino) and Ebisu (Ryotaro Okiayu).
The first season started in January of last year, and was streamed by Funimation during its run in Japan. Their website has a description of the story:
Yato may just be a minor god now, but he’s determined to make it big and he’s got a plan. Unfortunately, things just don’t seem to be going his way. He doesn’t have a single shrine dedicated to him, his partner has just quit, and now he’s got to find a new divine weapon. Just when things look bleak, he meets a girl named Hiyori and changes her life forever.
Funimation released the first season on DVD and Blu-ray in North America on July 7, including both subbed and dubbed versions of the anime. In addition, a free-to-play “card battle RPG” called Noragami ~Kami to Enishi~ (Noragami ~Gods and Fate~) is under development by Sakura Soft and is slated for release in autumn 2015 on mobile devices.
Noragami Aragoto will air during the fall 2015 anime season, starting at the beginning of October. It will air on MBS, Tokyo MX, and BS Fuji.
