This year marks the 20th anniversary of the original Neon Genesis Evangelion anime, which launched on October 4, 1995. The celebrations have been going on throughout the year, with the newest addition to the festivities having just been announced.
Bernie Grundman Mastering will be releasing the original soundtrack from the anime on vinyl record on September 9th. It will be a two-LP set, with album art illustrated by Takeshi Honda, the animation director for the mecha from the anime and numerous other series, including Sailor Moon S, Rozen Maiden and BECK.
