Yusuke Hashimoto, the director of the Platinum Games developed Starfox Zero for Nintendo, dropped in on Twitter to make a very brief but exciting announcement concerning the game’s characters when he confirmed that the the rival mercenary group Star Wolf is going to be partaking in the festivities this go around.  Check out his tweet below.

So yeah, that’s pretty exciting news!

Star Wolf, for anyone not in the know, are a mercenary group of pilots that have become rivals to Star Fox. They’ve always been a welcome presence in the Star Fox games and have helped to add some extra tension to the already hectic action. Platinum Games is sure to give Star Wolf sharper fangs than they’ve ever had before!

Star Fox Zero is slated to come out for the Nintendo Wii U holiday 2015.
