Celestial Method Episode 6 Noel 1

Besides Noel being adorable, Episode 6 was a nice calm after the storm of Yuzuki. In this episode, the girls all head to the hot springs! If you came for the fan service, you will be disappointed. But if you came for an interesting episode, step right up!

So, we end up with all the girls going to the hot springs. Yuzuki, feeling badly about how she treated everyone’s favorite punch-buggy, invites Nonoka and Koharu to the hot springs to try and create a situation where she can apologize. I really liked this since it showed her growing as a character. After sitting through a good 3 episodes of her acting like a brat, it was nice to see her becoming self aware and wanting to apologize.

Yay! Friendly Classmate Trio in full effect!

Shione, having alienated everyone, wasn’t invited but ended up winning a raffle and taking Noel. These two are super cute together and I can’t wait until we get to Shione’s arc. Based on the way Episode 6 played out, I don’t think we will have to wait too long until that starts up. So far, Shione had been one of the show’s more interesting characters. She lives alone due to absentee parents and seems cold but thinks a lot of her friends. I can’t wait to find out more about her!

Shione being all up and cute.

With that said, our heroine is still the only one that knows her mother died. None of her friends nor Noel know that’s why she left with her parents all those years ago. Today’s episode was very much a transition episode and the calm before another storm of emotion. I’m hoping next episode will drop some truth bombs on us. Hopefully, we can get into more about Noel or Shione. Personally, I’m expecting there to be more Shione.

Behold in the distance! More Emotional Baggage!
